ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to visually check the degradation of a commercial electrolytic capacitor only by making simple alterations thereto before its explosion protection valve is released. SOLUTION: An explosion proof valve is fitted on an electrolytic capacitor for preventing explosion caused by an increase in internal pressure when it is degraded. Taking advantage of the fact that the electrolytic capacitor inflates due to an increase in internal pressure before the explosion proof valve is released, a lid is covered that allows visual recognition of an increase in internal pressure as a result of the inflation of the explosion proof valve part due to the increase in the internal pressure before the valve is released or the outer surface is provided with a pattern that transforms based on a change in shape of the outer surface according to the internal pressure increase to permit the visual recognition of the internal pressure increase.
