Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a head assembly, enabling reduction of the time required for the adherence of a head slider to a support member, while suppressing deformation of the head slider. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus for the head assembly having a head slider 92 and a support member 94 for the support thereof, includes: a heating unit 2 for heating the support member 94 in an overlaid unit 9, having the head slider 92 overlaid with the support member 94 via an ultraviolet-thermosetting adhesive, from the opposite side to the ultraviolet thermosetting adhesive side; and a radiation unit 3 for radiating the ultraviolet thermosetting adhesive with an ultraviolet ray, at least in a portion of the period of heating the support member 94.
