IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING THE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve production efficiency as the whole device when the warm up period of a post processor is longer than that of an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: An MPF as an image forming system includes the image forming apparatus for forming an image on a sheet and the post processor performing post processing of the sheet on which the image is formed by the image forming apparatus, wherein the warm up period of the post processor is longer than that of the image forming apparatus. When receiving a printing job needing post processing, the MFP determines whether or not the warm up period of the image forming apparatus is completed and whether or not the warm up of the post processor is completed. When determining that the warm up period of the image forming apparatus is completed but the warm up of the post processor is not completed, the MFP gives an instruction to eject the sheet on which the image is formed by the image forming apparatus, without performing the post processing on the sheet.
