Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which picture quality is not deteriorated by any data pattern. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with: a data driving circuit for converting digital video data into a positive/negative polarity data voltage to be supplied to a data line in response to a vertical polarity control signal and controlling the horizontal polarity inversion cycle of the positive/negative polarity data voltage in response to a horizontal polarity control signal; and a timing controller 11 for generating the vertical polarity control signal and the horizontal polarity control signal, adding an FRC correction value to the input digital video data, supplying the added data to the data driving circuit, detecting a predetermined weak pattern by the input digital video data, and when the data of the weak pattern are detected, and changing either one of the logic inversion cycle of the vertical polarity control signal and the logic of the horizontal polarity control signal to change a data position to which the FRC correction value is added.
