SOLUTION: A method for inspecting an electrode of an oxidation-reduction potential measuring apparatus 1 wherein a measurement electrode 21 and a reference electrode 22 are immersed into a solution to be inspected to measure an oxidation-reduction potential of the solution, includes a step of immersing the measurement electrode 21 and the reference electrode 22 into a standard solution 5 prepared by adding a sulfite and quinhydrone to water in a container 4.
