Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing leakage of the fluid circulating outside of tubes from a core section constituted by stacking the plurality of tubes. SOLUTION: The core section 13 is constituted by stacking the plurality of tubes 2 constituted by fitting a pair of plates 21, 22 having a U-shaped cross-section having opposed face sections 21a, 22a and a pair of side sections 21b, 22b in opposition to each other. A water pathway 11 is formed on a part where bent sections 21c, 22c between the adjacent tubes 2 are opposed to each other, and a tank section 3 constituting a tank internal space with side faces 13a of the core section 13 are assembled to both end sections in the water pathway longitudinal direction, of the core section 13. Further a plate member 50 is disposed for preventing the leakage of a second fluid to the external through clearances 23a, 24a even when the clearances 23a, 24a are formed on joining sections 21b, 22b, 32 where the core section 13 and the tank 3 are joined.
