METHOD OF SPECIFYING DEFORMATION POSITION AND DEFORMATION CONDITION OF GAS HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a deformation condition and a deformation position of a side plate during operation. SOLUTION: This method specifies a deformation position and a deformation condition of a gas holder 1 for storing gas, which has a holder body 2 formed in a tube shape by side plates 2a and a lid-shaped piston 3 installed to be vertically movable along the side plates 2a via a seal mechanism provided at an outer periphery. Gas detectors 4 detecting leakage of gas leaking from the seal mechanism, inclinometers 5 measuring an inclination direction and an inclination amount of the piston 3 and level meters measuring a position of the piston 3 in a vertical direction are provided respectively in a plural number in a circumferential direction of the gas holder 1. Measurement by the gas detectors 4, inclinometers 5 and level meters is continuously performed at the same time and relationship among the position of the piston 3 in the vertical direction, the inclination direction and the inclination amount of the piston 3 and a leakage amount of the gas is obtained. The deformation position and the deformation condition of the side plate 2a are specified based on the relationship during operation.
