FUEL SAVING DRIVE EVALUATION DEVICE AND FUEL SAVING DRIVE EVALUATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel saving drive evaluation device and fuel saving drive evaluation method which enhance a willingness to fuel saving drive by a driver through correct evaluation of fuel saving drive by a driver. SOLUTION: A fuel saving drive evaluation device comprises an operation detection means which detects plural types of driving operations by a driver, an evaluation value computing means which computes an each-item evaluation value of driving operation during operation of an internal combustion engine for each of plural types of driving operation items on the basis of detected results by the operation detection means, a weighting value determination means which determines a relational rate to fuel economy of driving operation included in each driving operation item as a weighting value, a difficulty level of fuel saving drive operation and a predicted occurrence frequency of driving operation in response to running environment of a vehicle, and a total evaluation value computing means which executes a weighting process to an each-item evaluation value by a weighting value and computes a total evaluation value on the basis of each-item evaluation value after the weighting process.
