Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium and high carbon steel plate already applying a spheroidizing-annealing, giving high workability and quenchability by uniformly dispersing fine cementite, and to provide the medium and high carbon steel plate having suitable nature before the spheroidizing-annealing and the manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The medium and high carbon steel plate is composed of 0.14-0.85% C, 0.01-1.00% Si, 0.10-2.00% Mn, ≤0.04% P, ≤0.03% S, 0.002-0.08% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and applied with the spheroidizing-annealing, and in the medium and high carbon steel plate, the cementite having ≤0.6 μm the average grain diameter and ≤4.0 μm the maximum grain diameter is dispersed so that the average distance λ between the centers becomes ≤(1.2-0.3×C)μm, and the standard deviation σ of the distance between the centers becomes ≤(0.6×λ)μm.
