PACKAGING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging member enhanced in a cushioning effect of an impact from the outside to an object to be packaged, and having high strength. SOLUTION: The packaging member includes: a plurality of partition plates or two vertical partition plates 1 and two lateral partition plates 2 which are combined in parallel crosses to accommodate the object to be packaged in an inner space; and a cushioning block 3 that is engaged with lower margins of the partition plates and supports the bottom surface of the object to be packaged. The cushioning block 3 is composed of an elastic member such as a foamed material, a rubber material, resin or the like, and the cushioning block 3 has an engagement groove 30 engaged with the lower margins of the partition plates 1 and 2. The cushioning effect of an impact from the outside is enhanced by the elasticity of the cushioning block 3. Since the engagement groove 30 of the cushioning block 3 is engaged with the partition plates 1 and 2, the number of notches of the partition plates 1 and 2 is decreased, and the strength of the packaging member is enhanced.
