TILT TELESCOPIC STEERING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt telescopic steering device simultaneously performing fastening so as to be face-contactable with substantial uniformity in the circumferential direction of a column, and fixing in a tilt center. SOLUTION: The tilt telescopic steering device comprises a first clamp A and a second clamp B symmetrical in the same shapes with pressing surfaces 11, 31 pressing a column pipe 81, protruded parts 12, 32 formed at lower positions, column supports 1, 3 with fastening through-holes 13, 33 formed between the pressing surfaces and the protruded parts, and tilt arms 2, 4, and moreover, an upper side fixing bracket 5 and a lower side fixing bracket 6. The first clamp A and second clamp B are arranged between both fixing sides 52, 52, and freely fastened by a fastening tool 7 while making both the pressing surfaces 11, 31 hold the column pipe 81 with the protruded parts 12, 32 abutting on each other. The tilt arms 2, 4 are pivotally connected to the lower side fixing bracket 6, and the tilt arms 2, 4 are fixed to a tilt support side 62 while being fastened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
