DIPHENYLSULFONE DERIVATIVE AND THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL CONTAINING DIPHENYLSULFONE DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer and an image stabilizer that can provide a thermosensitive recording material excelling in preservability of an image part, particularly in oil resistance and plasticizer resistance, further excelling in preservability of a color undeveloped part, particularly in heat resistance, and to provide the thermosensitive recording material excelling in preservability using the developer and the image stabilizer. SOLUTION: The thermosensitive recording material is formed by providing, on a support body, a thermosensitive color-developing layer containing the developer, leuco dye and a diphenylsulfone derivative of different structure as the image stabilizer, wherein the developer is a mixture of a diphenylsulfone-crosslinked compound and a diphenylsulfone derivative which is a reaction product of dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and 4,4'-bis(halo methyl)biphenyl, in which at least one of terminal groups is a halogenated methyl group.
