Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding apparatus capable of suppressing damage to a heater and lowering of temperature caused by flux. SOLUTION: The welding apparatus 1 includes a welding machine 2 for performing arc welding with a cylindrical structure as a welding target T and a heater 3 for preheating the welding object T during the welding. The welding machine 2 is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the welding object T. Further, the heater 3 is arranged on the inner peripheral side of the welding object T to preheat it. As a result, since the heater 3 is arranged on the inner peripheral side of the welding target T to heat a weld zone, the situation such that flux falls on the heater 3 is prevented when the flux is scattered during the welding.
