Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-band wavelength-variable laser device capable of scanning successively a wavelength ranging from the blue ray to the near-infrared rays. SOLUTION: The wide-band wavelength-variable laser device includes: an excitation light source consisting of a GaN system laser diode of which the wavelength is 420-475 nm; and a resonator where laser medium for emitting light by the excitation light is arranged between the optical paths of a first mirror for reflecting light of a desired wavelength band except the excitation light while transmitting the excitation light from the excitation light source, and of the second miller for reflecting light of the desired wavelength band, and furthermore a first wavelength selecting means is arranged between the optical paths of the laser medium and of the second mirror. Accordingly, the wide-band wavelength-variable laser device can change successively by using fluoride glass where at least Pr3+is added to the laser medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
