SCAVENGING SYSTEM OF FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scavenging system of a fuel cell capable of carrying out suitably scavenging of the system without incurring an increase in load to the fuel cell. SOLUTION: The scavenging system is provided with a bypass passage which is branched from an oxidizer supply passage 31a of an air control device which controls pressure of an oxidizer off-gas flowing in an oxidizer exhaust passage 31d by bypassing the fuel cell, a passage switching valve which is installed in the oxidizer supply passage 31a and switches over selectively the flow of the oxidizer gas to the oxidizer supply passage 31a or to a bypass passage 40a, and a humidifier. The bypass passage is connected to the oxidizer exhaust passage on the upstream side of the air control device by bypassing the humidifier in addition to the fuel cell. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
