SEMICONDUCTOR DATA PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor data processing device for achieving thoroughgoing security even against any illegal attack to be performed without being accompanied by physical breaking. SOLUTION: Breaking circuits (10, 11) for electrically breaking at least storage circuits (3, 7) for storing information to be used for authentication processing when user authentication can not received by the authentication processing of an authentication processing circuit (8) for performing authentication processing for receiving user authentication from the outside are adopted for a semiconductor data processing device (2). The breaking circuit is configured as a booster circuit capable of outputting a boosting voltage for electrically breaking the insulation of circuit elements configuring the storage circuits to the supply path of an operating power supply voltage.
