PROCESS FOR PRODUCING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a toner of high durability, which is well balanced with fixing performance and anti-offset properties, moreover, is capable of obtaining high quality images with low fogging, under environments ranging from low temperature and low humidity to high temperature and high humidity over a long period of time, without staining the member being in contact with the toner. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the toner is such that it cross-links a polymer and a resin component, containing a cross-linked polymer which is cross-linked with the polymer under the existence of a first wax for forming the wax containing cross-linked polymer composition which is mixed with at least a colorant and a second wax and melt kneaded for forming the toner composition, and the toner composition thus obtained is pulverized and the toner is manufactured.
