Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which over a long period of time, particularly even after printing on 2,000,000 sheets, the occurrence of image defects due to wear of a photoreceptor, such as black spots is suppressed and an image of sufficiently high image density can be obtained. SOLUTION: The image forming method includes at least a step of transferring a toner image obtained by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrophotographic photoreceptor with an electrophotographic toner onto a transfer material, and a step of removing non-transferred electrophotographic toner remaining on the electrophotographic photoreceptor with a cleaning blade, wherein the electrophotographic toner contains at least a fatty acid metal salt and fluorine-containing resin particles as external additives.
