Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of preventing a change of the fuel injecting direction even if a projecting part is deformed after welding an injection orifice plate to a valve seat, and capable of restricting deterioration of valve oil density after welding by preventing unevenness of the fuel injecting direction due to unevenness of welding. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection valve, the injection orifice plate 11 includes the projecting part 11d projecting to a downstream side in parallel with the tip part of a valve element, and extension of a seat part 10a of the valve seat 10 crosses the injection orifice plate 11 radially outside of the projecting part 11d, and an inlet part 12a of an injection hole 12 is arranged radially outside the projecting part 11d and radially inside a valve seat opening inner wall 10b, which is the smallest inner diameter of the valve seat 10. An injection orifice height h, which is expressed as a distance between the center of the inlet 12a of the injection orifice 12 and the tip part of the valve element in the valve shaft direction 10c, and an injection orifice inlet diameter d are set to satisfy the relation h≤1.5d in a valve-opened state.
