Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member joining method capable of reducing the required number of fastening tools while securing the fastening strength by efficiently disposing the fastening tools. SOLUTION: In the member joining method for joining a first and a second members using a plurality of the fastening tools (bolt 13), with the first member (main frame 11) and the second member (sub-frame 12) arranged to cross at a preset angle and face-contacting with each other, the position and the number of the fastening tools to be arranged in the joining section are properly set from the axial force F and the bending moment M applied to the section where the first and second members are joined together.
