VEHICULAR INTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular interior lighting system capable of improving appearance quality by a light emitting face to obtain more uniform illumination light. SOLUTION: The system has a rod-like light guide body 9 for making light radiated from an LED light emission body 8 incident on a longitudinal end 9a, and emitting the light from an outer periphery 9b toward an opposite end face 9d while guiding the light inside; and a compartment side light guide member 10 having an illumination face 10d facing a space in an occupant cabin 2. A light incident face 10b is formed at a plate-like light guide body 10a for guiding the illumination light in a plate face extension direction of the compartment side light guide member 10 along a longitudinal direction at a position near the outer periphery 9b of the rod-like light guide body 9. Then, when the illumination light emitted from the outer periphery 9b is incident again from the light incident face 10b, the illumination face 10d formed into a curve can equally distribute an amount of light radiated in the compartment side space 2 so as to be constituted in a shape for drawing a quadratic curve for gradually changing a light guide length D from the light incident face 10b according to an extension length direction dimension X of the rod-like light guide body 9 from the LED light emission body 8.
