Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system obtaining an image with a predetermined color shade, when superposing an image obtained using a pressplate with an image obtained using no pressplate. SOLUTION: An offset rotary press 16 and an electrophotographic device 20 are controlled to form a superposed density regulating image, and at least one of the offset rotary press 16 and the electrophotographic device 20 is controlled thereafter to bring the density of a superposed image superposed with an image formed by the offset rotary press 16 and an image formed by the electrophotographic device 20 into predetermined density, based on the density of the superposed density regulating image measured by a camera 44.
