TWEEZERS AND COATING COMPONENT FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a small and fragile component such as an optical component chip is held by metal tweezers with elastic coating parts of silicon rubber, acrylic rubber, or NBR attached to the tips thereof, the results are extreme difficulty in holding, difficulty in removing the held component from the tweezers due to the adhesion property of the rubber, flat-surfaced coating parts not usable, trial of uneven surfaced rubber parts to ease the separation resulting in difficulty of holding, bad workability, and contamination problem, therefore, good tweezers for use in a production process such as cleaning and vapor deposition of the optical component have not been realized. SOLUTION: The coating component for a metal tweezers is manufactured by using a particular fluorine-containing rubber that has not been considered to be used for the coating component for the tweezers. In this case, a thin, flat-surfaced, elastic but not adhering to coating component which precisely fits to the shape of the metal tweezers is realized by selecting vulcanizing and surface treating conditions.
