BUTTON SEWING DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND BUTTON SEWING DATA GENERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide button sewing data generation technique for calculating a first main movement amount from a coordinate original point to a first needle falling point, a plurality of main movement amounts for allowing a needle to successively fall onto a plurality of needle falling points, and a correction movement amount in a button hole concerning the plurality of needle falling points, by association with needle falling order. SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of needle falling point position information are input in needle falling order, so as to set reference positions of the respective button holes. The button holes to which the respective needle falling points belong are determined based on the needle falling point position information and the reference positions of the respective button holes. A movement amount from the reference position of the button hole to which the needle falling point belongs is calculated as the correction movement amount for each needle falling point in needle falling order, based on the reference position of the button hole to which each needle falling point belongs and each kind of needle falling point position information. A movement amount between button holes from each button hole to a next button hole is calculated as the main movement amount in needle falling order, based on the reference position of each button hole.
