PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device which is fixed at a prescribed place and photographs a subject person and is capable of recording also sound upon photographing, and to provide a communication terminal, a server, a photographing method and a communication method. SOLUTION: The photographing device 10 capable of photographing a prescribed photographic area A includes: a communication means which receives a photographing signal for photographing a subject person P when the subject person P is present in the photographic area A; a photographing part 13 which specifies the subject person P in the photographic area A in accordance with position information included in the photographing signal and performs photographing; a photographic data generation means 14 which generates photographic data on the basis of photographing of the photographing part 13; a sound data generation means 15 which obtains sound from the subject person side to generate sound data; and a recording control means 16 which indicates recording of the photographic data and the sound data in association with each other.
