Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type mobile terminal with good appearance that is easily opened by a button which is configured not to be exposed to the outside as much as possible. SOLUTION: The folding type mobile telephone set 1 (folding type mobile terminal) has a first casing 3, a second casing 5, and a hinge unit 6 which connects the first casing 3 and the second casing 5 to be freely opened and closed. The first casing 3 automatically opens with respect to the second casing 5 from a closed state by sliding a display cover unit 3b (a body to be slid) of the first casing 3 on the second casing 5.
