SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING NETWORK CONFIGURATION FOR MOBILE OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing a network configuration for a mobile object, which vary a signaling period according to a mobile environment of the mobile object to manage connection of the mobile object to a network, maintenance of the connection and disconnection of the mobile object from the network. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a system and a method for managing a network configuration for a mobile object. A monitoring device attached to the mobile object, that is, a container loaded with a cargo, recognizes loading and a mobile environment of the container, constructs a network with other containers according to the environment and performs connection/disconnection of the container to/from a network and maintenance of the connection from the time when the container departs from an origin and arrives at a destination through various transportation processes of overland transportation and marine transportation. Accordingly, the state of the container is monitored, monitored information is transmitted to a container administrator and the power of the monitoring device which constructs an optimized network with other monitoring devices according to container circumstances can be saved.
