INFORMATION ANALYZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information analyzing device for retrieving or outputting both document information and space information to present spacial related data. SOLUTION: The information analyzing device includes a means 110 for extracting characteristic expressions described in document information; a geographical name dictionary 120 converting the extracted characteristic expressions into position information; a geoevent database 132 managing the position information as a spacial attribute of the document information and further managing a plurality of spacial attributes if necessary; meas 111, 112 for eliminating ambiguity in the position information; a database 131 managing maps; a database 133 managing documents; a means 117 for managing the database; a means 116 for managing a dictionary used for extracting the characteristic expressions; a means 118 for managing a geoevent; a means 113 for retrieving the map; a means 114 for editing the map; a means 115 for executing a space analysis; a means 101 for inputting a processing instruction; and a means 102 for outputting a processing result.
