Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element suppressing malfunctions of a liquid crystal display between wirings of the liquid crystal display element while suppressing an increase in cost. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element comprises: a first glass substrate with a segment electrode pattern and wiring patterns are formed; a second glass substrate which is arranged facing the first glass substrate and, when an interval between a common electrode pattern and the wiring pattern formed on the first glass substrate is 100 μm or less, has a dummy pattern formed on an area facing the area located between the wiring patterns; film constitutions formed to cover the patterns formed on the first and second glass substrates; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first and second glass substrates.
