Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for automatically extracting nucleic acids from nucleic acids containing samples. SOLUTION: The system includes a set including a process plate (18), a reagent plate (19), and an output plate (21). The samples are included in cavities of the process plate (18). Reagents are provided in cavities of the reagent plate (19) using a reagent pipetting device (29) comprising a plurality of reagent pipettes (30) provided with re-usable pipette tips (31) repeatedly used for providing the reagents, and transferred to the samples in the process plate (18) using a sample pipetting device (32) comprising a plurality of sample pipettes (33) provided with disposable pipette tips (34) for the reagents to obtain sample-reagent mixtures. They are released to obtain incubated, isolated, and extracted nucleic acids.
