INFORMATION SERVING APPARATUS, INFORMATION SERVING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information serving apparatus capable of choosing information to be output, without interfering with its operation. SOLUTION: The information serving apparatus 1 includes: a current position detecting section 10; a feature data memory section 12; a gaze detecting section 18 for detecting a gaze of an occupant; a character device 22 for presenting a gaze in an optional direction by using a three-dimensional motion; a loudspeaker 32 and a monitor 34 for outputting feature data; and a controller 40. The controller 40 steers the gaze of the character device 22 toward the occupant, when a feature existing around the current position is searched, and detects an eye contact of the occupant and the character device 22, and then steers the gaze of the character device 22 to the occupant, when the eye contact is detected, and determines whether the occupant carries out such a co-gaze that the occupant gazes in a direction in which the character device 22 gazes, based on a detecting result of the gaze detecting section 18.
