Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply display a cross-sectional image on which the flaw region in an inspection target and the peripheral shape of the flaw region are clearly reflected. SOLUTION: A probe 20 transmits a wide band ultrasonic beam to a welded piping part being the inspection target to receive the reflected wave data of the welded piping part, a logarithmic amplifier 16b form compression data from the reflected wave data, which is adjusted in gain by a gain adjusting part 16a, by logarithmic compression, a transmission data forming part 17a forms a plurality of transmission data from the compression data by a plurality of bandpass filters set from the frequency characteristics of the respective reflecting sources provided in the welded piping part and a cross-sectional image forming part 17b forms cross-sectional images from a plurality of the respective transmission data. A synthetic image forming part 17c forms a synthetic image wherein a plurality of the cross-sectional images are synthesized and a control part 13 performs control so as to display the synthetic image on a display 12 along with the position of the probe 20 obtained from a position sensor 30 by a position data acquisition part 14.
