DIFFUSION COMBUSTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion combustion device capable of using liquid fuel. SOLUTION: In the diffusion combustion device 1 having a primary combustion chamber 4 opened into a main combustion chamber 2, a pilot burner 5 provided in the primary combustion chamber 4, a fuel nozzle 6 jetting fuel into the primary combustion chamber 4, a primary air supply passage 7 supplying primary air along the fuel nozzle 6 at a periphery of the fuel nozzle 6, and a secondary air supply passage 8 jetting secondary air into the main combustion chamber 2 from a neighborhood of the primary combustion chamber 4, a primary air ratio adjusting means is provided for raising a primary air ratio being a rate of the primary air with respect to the whole amount of the primary air and the secondary air when a temperature of the main combustion chamber is low, and lowering it when the temperature of the main combustion chamber is high.
