Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy residual quantity display system for a vehicle allowing confirmation of information on a residual quantity of driving energy of the vehicle without any special medium even in a place away from the vehicle, and a vehicle key. SOLUTION: The vehicle 2 includes: a residual quantity detection means 12 detecting the energy residual quantity of the driving energy stored in the vehicle 2 for driving a driving source 27; a storage means 13 storing the residual quantity information indicating the detected energy residual quantity; a motive power stop means 14 stopping a driving source 27; a motive power stop detection means 15 detecting the stop of the driving source 27 by the motive power stop means 14; and a residual quantity information transmission means 16 transmitting the stored residual quantity information to the vehicle key 4 along with the detection by the motive power stop detection means 15. The vehicle key 4 includes: a residual quantity information acquisition means 43 acquiring the residual quantity information from the vehicle 2; and a display means 46 displaying the residual quantity of the energy based on the acquiredresidual quantity information.
