CONTAINER FOR PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTING GLASS SHEETS AND SHIPPING STAND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for securing a plurality of thin sheet materials. SOLUTION: The container 10 has a front plate, a back plate, a right and a left side plate, and a bottom plate assembled using a series of bolts. One or both of the front plate and the back plate are made attachable and detachable in order to open the container 10 by taking off either the front plate or the back plate to load up and take out glass sheets to the container 10. A pallet 100 for shipping is designed so as to receive a container for the glass in order to transport out of a glass factory, the whole of the container and the pallet which are combined together, retains the container at an inclined shipping angle A selected so as to held in a truck or a marine container of standard size. A working station receives the container from the pallet 100 and retains the container at an operation angle selected so as to be united with facilities for handling the glass sheets.
