Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bond flux for the downward fillet submerged arc welding capable of obtaining the excellent welding workability and mechanical performance of a weld metal even in a high-heat input submerged arc welding. SOLUTION: The bond flux for the downward fillet submerged arc welding contains, by mass, 12-30% SiO2, 10-25% MgO, 8-21% Al2O3, 1-7% CaF2, 2-13% CaO, 10-30% TiO2, 0.1-1% B2O3, 1-8% FeO, 1-5% Na2O, 0.1-1% Li2O, 2-8% CO2portion of metal carbonate, 0.1-1% Mn and 0.1-5% Si, and the balance inevitable impurities.
