GARBAGE TREATMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment device that can minimize odor leaking therefrom even if it is built into a sink cabinet. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment device includes a garbage treatment container 21, a garbage feed passage 27 communicating with the garbage treatment container 21, a feed cover 31 for feeding garbage which opens/closes a feed port 28 of the garbage feed passage 27, a housing 26 for housing the garbage treatment container 21, a heating means 34 for heating the garbage, a condensation/deodorization means 35 for removing vapor and an odorant component coming out of the garbage, an outgoing circulation path 44 and a returning circulation path 45 for allowing air to circulate between the garbage treatment container 21 and the condensation/deodorization means 35, and a circulation means 47 for forming a circulating flow of air in the outgoing circulation path 44 and the returning circulation path 45. The housing 26 is disposed below a sink 25 in a sink cabinet, and the length of the garbage feed passage 27 extending from the top board of the sink cabinet to the housing 26 is made longer than the depth of the sink 25.
