Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester so designed that, in the vicinity of a grain culm-conveying apparatus, contacts of other things with wires connected to an actuator for turning and vertically swinging a traverse feed cylinder may be inhibited in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is such that, the outer side of the outer circumferential surface of vertical feed cylinder 55 is provided with a guard member 6 moving around vertical axis y together with a traverse feed cylinder 56 turning and moving around the vertical axis y of the vertical feed cylinder 55 and surrounded the outer side of wires 58a connected to an actuator 58 for vertically swinging the traverse feed cylinder 56, wherein the guard member 6 has such a space 60 allowing the wires 58a to be relatively moved in the circumferential direction of the vertical feed cylinder 55 as the traverse feed cylinder 56 is turningly moved.
