PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer for an information storage medium, which manages currencies and transaction content for each multiple electronic money services. SOLUTION: The reader/writer 10 settles the payment with electronic money by reading/writing an electronic money balance stored in a non-contact IC card 20 based on the settlement information when receiving predetermined settlement information from a main control part 1a of a vending machine 1. The reader/writer 10 includes: a storage part 230; and a control part 250 for, when acquiring currency transaction information 1d representing the transaction content on settlement in currency from the main control part 1a, storing the currency transaction information 1d in the storage part 230, and for, when the settlement with the electronic money normally ends, storing electronic money transaction information 231 representing the transaction content of an electronic money service used for the settlement with the electronic money among a plurality of electronic money services in the storage part.
