SOLUTION: The zoom lens is formed of three lens groups having negative, positive and positive power. The first lens group is formed of a first lens L1 that is a negative lens, a second lens L2 that is a negative lens, and a third lens L3 that is a positive lens. The second lens group has a cemented lens formed by joining a positive lens of a biconvex shape and a negative lens of a biconcave shape, and is formed of four lenses, and the zoom lens is formed so as to satisfy a following conditional expression (1) and a following conditional expression (2).
