Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flooring material preventing warpage, swelling, discoloration or the like due to penetration of moisture and humidity into a substrate. SOLUTION: The flooring material includes a decorative synthetic resin sheet 2 stuck onto a substrate 1, and a recessed groove 3 formed on a surface of the decorative synthetic resin sheet over its whole longitudinal length in a depth within the thickness range of the decorative synthetic resin sheet, the groove being formed in a shape having a flat surface at the bottom. The sectional shape of the recessed groove may be a reversed trapezoidal shape. The remaining thickness of the synthetic resin sheet at the place where the recessed groove is formed is preferably 0.2 mm or more.
