METHOD FOR PRODUCING CHARGE-CONTROL AGENT AND TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a charge-control agent, which easily produces a charge-control agent not causing an evil influence resulting from the residual fraction of reaction medium even in the case of existence of the residual fraction of the reaction medium supplied to a reaction system for obtaining an azo-based chromium complex; and a toner that has an excellent charge rising property, causes neither scattering nor fogging even in the case of forming an image by a high printing speed and stably obtains high-quality images for a long period of time without being influenced by use environments such as temperature and humidity. SOLUTION: The method for producing a charge-control agent includes a complex synthesis process for synthesizing a specific azo-based chromium complex by reacting an azo compound with a salicylic acid-based chromium complex as a complexing agent.
