PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file which can make an easy filing of leaves to be bound together. SOLUTION: This file has a foldable file body 5 formed so as to allow a face cover 2 and a back cover 4 to be opposed to each other. In addition, the file body 5 has a fastener 8 consisting of a bar-like fastening pin member 6 which projects from the inside surface of the back cover 4 to the face cover 2 side and can be inserted into the binding holes of the leaves to be bound as the file body is folded, and also, a guide member 7 arranged in a position where the leaves to be bound are filed. Further, the face cover 2 has an engagement hole 12 into which the fastening pin member 6 can be fitted, and also, a fitting part 13 which can removably fit into the engagement hole 12, is arranged near the apex of the fastening pin member 6. The guide member 7 has a longitudinal guide part 15 almost in parallel with a spine cover 3 in such a state that the file body 5 is folded, and a crosswise guide 16 which is almost perpendicular with the longitudinal guide 15 and almost perpendicular with the back cover 4 as the file body 5 is folded.
