AIR TRAP CHAMBER WALLED UPPER CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air trap chamber upper cap which prevents the deformation of a connection part by steam heating during high pressure steam sterilization and the deformation of a bottom surface (top surface part itself) of the upper cap accompanying it, eliminates the clotting of blood by the foaming of the blood and eliminates the decline of reliability on quality caused by the deformation. SOLUTION: For the air trap chamber upper cap, in an air trap chamber 1 installed in the middle of a blood circuit for extracorporeally circulating and processing the blood, a plurality of connection parts 7 provided on the top surface outer side of the upper cap 4 of the chamber are fixed by a wall 8. Also, the wall 8 fixing the plurality of connection parts 7 and 7 is straight or/and curved and there may be the plurality of walls 8. Further, the wall 8 may be a bridge shape.
