POSITION IDENTIFYING DEVICE, POSITION IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM, COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM, AND POSITION IDENTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a device to identify the contact position of a contact object, regardless of the color of the contact object which is in contact with the display surface of a surface-like member, while making the device compact. SOLUTION: A position identifying device includes: a liquid crystal panel with a built-in sensor 301, which includes a plurality of pixel circuits 31 and a plurality of photosensors 6 at least one of which is mounted on each pixel circuit 31; an image display processing section 18, which sequentially makes each of the pixel circuits 31 produce a color with an R pixel circuit 31r to a B pixel circuit 31b; a scan processing section 12, which scans the image of a pen P in contact with the liquid crystal panel with built-in sensor 301 by means of the photosensor 6, each time the image display processing section 18 makes the pixel circuit produce a color with the R pixel circuit 31r to the B pixel circuit 31b; and a contact position determination processing section 14A, which determines the contact position of the pen P onto the liquid crystal panel with a built-in sensor 301, on the basis of each image of the pen P scanned by the scan processing section 12, whenever a color with the R pixel circuit 31r is produced to the B pixel circuit 31b.
