Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a copying machine which is complex and multifunctional to achieve effective trouble-shooting by easily and automatically indicating a trouble part. SOLUTION: The output of a sensor is used as direct and indirect data, and further used for the detection of the trouble part of the device. For example, the calibration 120 of a black-toner-area coverage degree sensor is carried out through measurement in a soil-free state as in unused state, and soil-level check 126 is carried out. Further, a light-receiving-body patch uniformity test 128 is performed for determining the defective area of the surface of the electrophotographic light-receiving-body. Thereafter a beam fault test 136 for a raster output scanner (ROS) and cleaner test 138 are performed. Also, as a comprehensive actuator-performance-indicator-test, a preliminary-electrification test block 140 and an ROS test 142 are carried out. These are followed by a background test 144 and so on. By these various tests, the trouble part is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
