Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual releasing mechanism of an unexcited operation type electromagnetic brake usable even outdoors, capable of manually releasing the electromagnetic brake by a simple structure and operation, and capable of preventing damage of a part by erroneous operation, a malfunction, generation of an abnormal sound, vibration and contact. SOLUTION: A releasing cam 10, a cam base 20 and a releasing arm 30 are built in a brake cover 80, and the brake is manually released by pressing an armature 40 by a projection part 36 of the releasing arm 30 by rotating the releasing cam 10 from an external part by a manual releasing means such as a driver via an insertion hole 80a. The brake can also be operated by rotating the releasing cam 10 by about 180 degrees in the inverse direction of this cam, and in either case, the releasing cam 10 and the releasing arm 30 are held in respective stable positions. Thus, the manual releasing mechanism is stored in the brake cover, and the brake is released without requiring to remove the part, and an operation state can be switched, and respective states can be stably maintained.
