REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF HORIZONTAL SLEEPER TYPE BALLAST TRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a horizontal sleeper type ballast track from being displaced and buckled. SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure of the horizontal sleeper type ballast track is constituted by laying ballast 3 on a roadbed 2, arranging two ballast tracks 1 for supporting rails 5 by sleepers 4 on a viaduct 11, arranging a track reinforcing member 21 between the sleeper 4 and a duct wall 15, and arranging an intermediate reinforcing member 22 between two horizontal sleeper type ballast tracks 1. A plurality of the track reinforcing members 21 and the intermediate reinforcing members 22 are arranged at an installation interval d of 1 meter or more and distance between wheel axles of a truck provided on a vehicle running on the rails 5 or less in the axial direction of the rails 5.
