PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in swing operability of a door without causing upsizing of a vehicle body or the door. SOLUTION: This check link device specifies a maximum opening position of the door D by making a holding member 10 and a stopper portion 22 of an arm 20 abut on each other when the door D is opened with respect to a vehicle body B. The arm 20 is constituted so as to inhibit sliding body 15 of the holding member 10 from contacting with a twisted portion 33 of a steel plate 30. Specifically, in the arm 20, an abutting surface 43 is formed at a position toward one end side of a base 31 with respect to the twisted portion 33 of the steel plate 30. Thus, when the door D is moved in an opening direction with respect to the vehicle body B, a block surface 12d provided in a case 12 and the abutting surface 43 of the arm 20 abut on each other before the sliding body 15 of the holding member 10 reaches the twisted portion 33 of the steel plate 30.
