Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for taking out pickled culm (Japanese plum) enabling automatization of work for taking salted Umes out of a pickling tank for solar drying or the like to eliminate heavy work. SOLUTION: The method for taking out pickled Umes comprises: pickling Umes 5 in a pickling tank 4 structured so as to allow an air bubble-discharging part 10 to be disposed in the bottom area of the tank; disposing a surrounding cover 14 in the vicinity of a water surface in the pickling tank 4; putting the tip end part of a belt conveyer 1 where taking-out members 24 are mounted on a belt 30 at prescribed intervals, into the pickling tank 4; taking the other end part of the belt conveyer 1 out of the pickling tank 4; making the sinking Umes 5 float up in the vicinity of the water surface via the air bubbles from the air bubble-discharging part 10; and taking the floating Umes 5 out of the pickling tank 4 with the belt conveyer 1 while surrounding the Umes 5 with the surrounding cover 14.
